WELCOME, THANK YOUS, AND MORE!
Posted by admin | Filed under Happenings
Thanks for stopping by my brand new website. I hope that you enjoyed your visit. It was quite a lot of work getting this online roach motel off the ground, and I want to take this opportunity to thank a couple of people who helped with this endeavor. First and foremost, thanks to Will Weyer and Wiretree for bringing TerraneZdunich.com to life, and for collaborating with me on my wacky roach concept. When I asked Will if he’d be interested in animating some talking cockroaches, he didn’t even bat an eye. I knew right then that I’d made the correct choice in web designer (although he did keep pushing for designs that involved roach squashing!). I would also like to thank Suthi Picotte for taking all of the photos that you see of me on the site. Aside from capturing some wonderful moments, it was Suthi that convinced me to wear a suit and try and “clean up” for some of the pictures (perhaps my most difficult acting performance to date!). Thank you both for all of your help! If anyone is in need of a professional photographer or a kick ass web designer, I highly recommend that you seek out Suthi and Will.
This blog entry is the first of many to come, so please check back regularly. Also, feel free to post a comment, as I would love to hear from you.

Hey! Congrats on the site! It turned out great!

I like the talking roaches. It’s pretty damn cool, and now we’ve got our daily random cockroach trivia out of the way, so thanks for that!
Haha, I’m sure your Mom’s happy that you dressed up a bit, at least. That counts for something, aside from getting better Christmas presents.
Looking forward to more blog entries, good (albeit slightly twisted) sir!

Wow. Ok, I admit, I still hate roaches.
But it IS fun to chase them off and read all those random (horrible) facts.
Great job! I’m definitely bookmarking this! Can’t wait to meet you on the Repo Road Tour in Nov!

This is probably the grossest and coolest site design I’ve ever seen, Terrance – congrats on getting it up and running!

Great work Terrance (and Will and Suthi as well)!
I will wait with anticipation to purchase shiny or printed baubles on your online store.
Also remember:
Even after everyone else dies, there will always be cockroaches and graverobbers!
----------------------------------------------------------------
October 20th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
Awesome site! I love clicking on the roaches ^_^
Also I love your artwork. Great Job!
BTW I can’t wait to see you as Graverobber in Repo!

I love it! Great design and theme, and I love the photos for each section – my fave is, of course, the detective/jack the ripper esque shot.
Finally, we can see your other work – beautiful! And thank you so much for showing how your work gets from a to z.
A++ Z-man!

October 20th, 2008 at 7:01 pm
Hey! I love your page, and you for that matter….
Love those pics. Hope we get more artwork as the site continues. Thanks for being so amazing!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------
October 20th, 2008 at 7:38 pm
Aha, love the roaches. xD Very cute. And your artwork is incredibly awesome!
Only one suggestion; is there something different you could do with how the full-size photographs come up when you click on the thumbnails? Maybe it’s just my very elderly computer crapping out on me, but I can only see half the image before it runs out of screen, and it doesn’t resize to fit the window as most images do.

October 20th, 2008 at 8:25 pm
Your site is radtastic!
And your little roaches are kinda fun
I can’t wait to get my hands on your graphic novel … or Repo! fot that matter.

I swear I commented on here earlier this morning, but I don’t see it now.
Anyway, I love the site, though I still hate cockroaches. And I can’t wait to see what kinds of things will be in the store.

I know that everyone else has said it, but the site is amazing. I really loved all of the artwork. I never really thought about how much goes into just one piece. I thought that showing them transform was great. That mural was so beautiful.

Terrance, you crack me the F$#* up. I love all the little cockroach ‘facts’.
And damn you multitalented writers – all my drawings look like Jackson Pollock.

Very informative site. I can say I am more informed about roaches. I like the concept though.

October 21st, 2008 at 7:42 pm
Wow T, in a suit you almost look (dare I say it)…respectable…:-)
In all seriousness, just when I thought I truly appreciated the depths of your talent, you go and pull a stunt like this! For lack of a better term, your site f#$%in’ rocks!
Now go put on that suit, and infiltrate a ‘compassionate conservatives’ meeting…don’t forget the rubber gloves (you’ll need them)…

Hi Terrence!
What a fantastic site. I am trying to have a site made myself, but it won’t be nearly as fantabulous as this!!!
It’s fitting for someone as talented as yourself, nice job (as usual).

Went to the show in Portland last night. Wish I had bought tickets to Seattle too! Really enjoyed meeting you after the show. I grew up with nightmare on elm street, halloween etc. Repo is like a breath of fresh air to gore fans such as me! Everything was great, the art work, music, story, everything! Loved the movie, I can’t wait to buy the dvd when it is released. We have a small theater in Kelso Wa that plays Rocky Horror every year for Halloween. I would love to see Repo there every year!!It is called the Kelso Theater pub. We have been telling everyone in Kelso/ Longview how great the show was and they are all saying they wish they could have gone too. Thanks so much for a great movie. And as I told you at the show…you are dark hot!! Best of luck in everything! Kathy Kelso

My daughter and I loved meeting you in Austin (Queerios) and have seen the movie 10+ times now. Our CD’s of the soundtrack are well worn. We are both looking forward to your book. Do you ever sell any of your paintings? They are amazing!!!! The trees in the mist/fog is exquisite. Liek the site and even the roach narrations-kinda gives me the willies though.
Thank you for sharing your artistic world with us.

Gosh, here I am so late in the game…oh well.
Cool site, Terrance! I must say, chasing the roaches around the page is bizarrely addicting — and I only just discovered a few days ago that you can squish them. Oh, how desperately easily amused I am…:P
You are without a doubt one of the strangest people I’ve seen in show business so far, and possibly the poster child for A.D.D. (the website speaks for itself), but your talent is undeniable. My boyfriend and I are Repo! converts (and fans of yours), and I hope to see more of your work in the future.
P.S. – I hope y’all manage to put the cut material from Repo! into the DVD. I felt like the movie needed a little more, but it was otherwise amazing stuff. Plus I just thought the movie was so cool that the prospect of there being more of it is an exciting one
P.P.S. – You photograph entirely too well. I am insanely jealous.

November 19th, 2008 at 10:15 pm
Oh man, forgot to clarify, strange (and A.D.D. for that matter) is most definitely a plus to me. “Normal” seems like it would be very boring…
Plus I’m not exactly in a position to call anyone strange — I meant it more as recognizing a fellow odd spirit
